SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol-generating article and an aerosol-generating system. Aerosol-generating article (10) comprises aerosol-generating substrate (20), filter element (22), as well as first paper wrapper (30) and second paper wrapper (40) surrounding the aerosol-forming substrate. First paper wrapper has a thickness in range of 90 micrometres to 160 micrometres. Second paper wrapper combines the aerosol-forming substrate with the filter element.
EFFECT: enabling reduction of swelling and physical weakening of a part of the wrapper of the aerosol-generating article even in the presence of a high level of humidifier content in the aerosol-generating substrate.
