SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely surgery and obstetrics. A curved needle is used, which has blunt and sharp ends, while at the blunt end of the needle there is an axial channel in which the first and second threads of absorbable material are fixed, as well as a braid of absorbable material. At the same time, a needle is injected in the area of the posterior vaginal arch, retreating 1 cm from the side wall of the vagina, below the external os of the cervix. The puncture is carried out in the area of the anterior vaginal arch at the same level relative to the lateral wall of the vagina. After stretching the threads and the braid, they are cut off from the needle, the first thread ligates the vessels of the parametrium at the level of the branching of the uterine artery of the parametrium from the injection side. Then a braid is applied diagonally through the uterine corners along the uterus body and tightened, after which the second thread of the uterine artery branching area is ligated repeatedly from the injection side. The procedure is repeated on the other side.

EFFECT: device and method make it possible to purposefully affect the system of the main and then spiral arteries that turn out to be compressed by the tissues of the myometrium, providing a quick and reliable stop of uterine bleeding, reducing intraoperative blood loss, the possibility of repeated bleeding with possible weakening of ligatures imposed on the main vessels, and also reduce the risk of adhesions in the uterine cavity, which provides free the outflow of lochiae in the postpartum period, reduces the likelihood of repeated manipulations to eliminate synechiae in the uterine cavity.
