FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing the material of an ion-transport membrane, including solid-phase synthesis of Bi1,6Er0,4O3 for 20 hours at 800°C from Bi2O3 and Er2O3 oxides, synthesis of Ag2O by deposition from an aqueous solution of silver nitrate, and hot pressing of the charge of Bi1,6Er0,4O3, Ag2O and metal indium in an argon medium, followed by firing in an argon furnace, characterised by the fact that the material has the composition Bi1,6Er0,4O3 - 27 wt.%, Ag - 3 wt.%., In. Hot pressing is performed at 750°C and at a pressure of 8 MPa for 3 hours followed by firing in a furnace at 700 to 750°C for 24 hours.
EFFECT: production of the material of an ion-transport membrane.
