FIELD: waste recycling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for material pressing; it can be used for waste recycling. A press for waste compaction contains a press-compactor, to which a container is attached by means of two hooks. The press-compactor contains a case with guides and a scraper, a pressing chamber for waste compaction in a pressing channel, and a pressing plate. The pressing chamber is equipped with lining of sheet wear-resistant material, mounted on its walls by means of detachable connecting elements. The pressing plate, made with the possibility of movement of pressed waste to the container and their compaction, is equipped with liners providing sliding along lined walls of the pressing chamber. In part of the pressing plate, moving in a pressing chamber zone, axle boxes with liners are installed, made with the possibility of movement along guides mounted on the case of the press-compactor. A profile of the inner surface of hooks is made in the form of a cam for gripping the container. The scraper mounted on the case of the press-compactor is made of polyethylene and is equipped with spring-loaded clamps along its entire length for tight fit to the surface of the pressing plate.
