FIELD: virology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to virology. A combined vaccine strain InfluBact-H7/PspA is described, a reassortant whose genome formula 6:2 meets the requirements for live influenza vaccine strains: the genes encoding the surface proteins hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) belong to the potentially pandemic virus /Anui/1/2013 (H7N9), while the genes encoding internal proteins (PB2, PB1, PA, NP, M, NS) belong to the attenuation donor A/Leningrad/134/17/57 (H2N2) obtained by reverse genetics. At the same time, the gene encoding the HA surface protein is modified: after the signal peptide, a fragment of the bacterial PspA gene (160-262 a.a. gb|EHD89266.1| pneumococcal surface protein A [Streptococcus pneumoniae]) is inserted into the gene. The invention can be used in practical public health for the prevention of influenza and pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae. The combined vaccine strain InfluBact-H7/PspA actively reproduces in developing chicken embryos at an optimum temperature of 32°C, is characterized by temperature sensitivity, cold adaptation and harmlessness for laboratory animals.
EFFECT: high genetic stability and is immunogenic against both influenza virus and pneumococcus.
