FIELD: testing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of testing technology, in particular to control leaks, and can be used in those areas of technology where the tightness of products is monitored to obtain quantitative characteristics of leaks in case of large leaks of vapors of working or process liquids, tuning is performed, and the sensitivity of gas analytical equipment is determined. A control leak is proposed, containing a body 1 filled with a test substance 10, a permeable element 4, which provides a reference flow of test substance vapors. In case 1 there is a transparent element 2 with a scale 3 with risks corresponding to the value of the volume of test substance 10 filled in case 1. The vapor flow of the test substance is determined by the ratio where G is the mass flow of vapors of the test substance, g/s; ΔV=V0 - V1 - change in the volume of the test substance for a certain period of time, ml; V0 - the volume of the test substance in the initial period of time before testing, ml; V1 is the volume of the test substance in the final period of time after testing, ml; ρ is the density of the test substance, g/ml; τ is the time during which measurements are taken of the change in the volume of the test substance in the body of the control leak, s.
EFFECT: ensuring the accuracy and objectivity of the measurement results performed directly in the test process.
