SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for the manufacture of a compressed rod from material in the form of canvas for a filter rod of an aerosol generating product, a method for the manufacture of a filter rod, a bending device, and a device for the manufacture of filter rods for aerosol generating products. The method for the manufacture of a compressed rod from material in the form of canvas for a filter rod of an aerosol generating product includes stages, at which: material (140) in the form of canvas is supplied from supply device (110); material (140) in the form of canvas is stretched through a device for the manufacture of filters with a filter; curved ridge (146B) is made on a central section of the cross-section of material (140) in the form of canvas, when it approaches a point of contact with the inner surface of bending socket (120) by stretching material (140) in the form of canvas through forming surface (130A) of forming device (130), contacting the central section of material (140) in the form of canvas, while forming surface (130A) deflects the central section of material (140) in the form of canvas from a line passing between a place, in which material (140) in the form of canvas comes out of supply device (110), and a center of outlet (120B) of bending socket (120); and material (140) in the form of canvas is bent in bending socket (120) to form a compressed rod of material in the form of canvas. The forming surface is equipped with a textured surface.
EFFECT: possibility of additional reduction in friction between a forming surface and material canvas is provided.
