SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing leaf tobacco material for using in an aerosol generating product, such as a cigarette or a tobacco-containing product of “heating without burning” type. The method for producing a corrugated material leaf for the aerosol generating product includes stages, on which: a continuous material leaf is supplied to a group of corrugating rollers in the direction of movement, wherein the group of corrugating rollers contains the first roller with the first surface and the first set of combs on at least part of this surface along its width, and the second roller with the second surface, at least a section of which is made of material with hardness lower than hardness of the material forming the first surface; the continuous material leaf is corrugated to obtain a corrugated leaf by supplying the continuous leaf between the first and the second rollers in the direction of leaf movement in such a way that, under the effect of the first set of combs of the first rollers, a set of corrugations is made on the continuous leaf. EFFECT: increased stability of the final product when using high corrugation speeds.
