SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and biotechnology. A method for express diagnostics of malignant tumors of the eyelids and conjunctiva is proposed, including spectrometric determination of the ratio of the optical density of reaction mixtures with tumor and healthy tissue of the eyelid or conjunctiva, placed in a solution of silver ammonia with a concentration of 0.031 mg/ml. If its value is more than 4, a malignant tumor is diagnosed.

EFFECT: invention provides an extension of the arsenal of methods for rapid diagnosis of malignant tumors of the eyelids and conjunctiva to determine further tactics for treating a patient.
