FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for plasma sampling includes the determination of weight and height of a donor; determination of hematocrit of the donor; calculation of a volume of donor’s plasma based on weight and height of the donor and hematocrit of the donor; calculation of a target volume of plasma sampling based on the calculated volume of donor’s plasma and a target percent ratio of plasma, and extraction of whole blood from the donor via a venous access device and the first line. The first line is connected to a device for the separation of blood components. In addition, the method includes the injection of anticoagulant into extracted whole blood via an anticoagulant line; separation of extracted whole blood into a plasma component and at least the second blood component, using the device for the separation of blood components; collection of the plasma component from the device for the separation of blood components and to a plasma collection container; calculation of a volume of pure plasma collected in the plasma collection container; and continuation of stages from the extraction of whole blood to the calculation of a volume of pure plasma until the calculated volume of pure plasma collected in the plasma collection container is equal to the target volume of plasma sampling. A system for plasma sampling for the implementation of a method is disclosed.
