SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine coordinates of a geometric center of a two-dimensional region. Essence of the device is that a capacitance transducer comprises a dielectric plate, common electrode and plurality of printed measuring electrodes, wherein the plurality of measuring electrodes are located on the surface of the dielectric plate in the boundary of a measuring region and form the first and second measuring parts, measuring electrodes of the first measuring part are made in the form of geometric figures, the total width of which along the direction of abscissa axis in a distance function along the direction of axis of ordinates varies linearly, measuring electrodes of the second measuring part are made in the form of geometric figures supplementing geometrical figures of measuring electrodes of the first measuring part until formation of a constant total width as a distance function along the direction of axis of ordinates.
EFFECT: high accuracy and faster operation.
