SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic technology. The method for storing cryogenic liquids in closed containers includes the isochoric process of increasing pressure from the heat supply and the process of reducing pressure in the steam cushion of the inner vessel of the cryogenic container by periodically spraying the vapors with cryogenic liquid supplied by a pump from the bottom of the inner vessel of the container. Periodic water spraying is carried out when the pressure in the steam cushion of the cryogenic tank reaches a value equal to 0.9-0.95 of the actuation pressure of the safety valve, which serves to protect the cryogenic tank from excess pressure during storage. Spraying is performed with a liquid, the temperature of which is lowered after the pump due to heat exchange with the flow, which is obtained by adiabatic expansion of vapors withdrawn from the steam cushion. After the heat exchange process, the cold of the latter is used to cool the screen of the cryogenic tank, and the work obtained as a result of adiabatic expansion of vapors is implemented to carry out the pump cycle.
EFFECT: present invention makes it possible to reduce losses and increase the storage time of cryogenic liquid in closed containers.
