FIELD: treatment of gas.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the treatment of spent gas produced by internal combustion engines. Composition of a three-way catalyst (TWC) contains transition metal-alloyed aluminium oxide, wherein the transition metal constitutes Mn, Fe, Cu or combinations thereof. The composition of the three-way catalyst additionally contains a material with oxygen storage capacity (OSC), containing a mixed cerium-zirconium oxide. Also proposed are a catalytic product and a method for purifying spent gas.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a possibility of increasing the efficiency of the catalyst, reducing hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxide emissions.
