SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for quantifying the level of expression of C23/nucleolin in histological specimens, including the production of histological sections and enclosure thereof in the mounting medium BioMount, allowing for digitisation with a 1,000-power increase, followed by measuring the optical density and the total area of stained granules of protein C23/nucleolin, as well as the total area of cells, in each digital image, followed by calculating the coefficient of nucleolin (C23) expression in the field of vision by the formula: K ex.C23=(((ΣS C23)/(ΣS Cell))x100)xD C23, wherein: K ex. C23 is the coefficient of protein C23/nucleolin expression in the field of vision, ΣS C23 is the total area of stained granules of protein C23/nucleolin in the field of vision, ΣS Cell is the total area of cells in the field of vision, D C23 is the optical density of stained granules of protein C23/nucleolin in the field of vision.

EFFECT: ensured quantification of the level of expression of C23/nucleolin in histological specimens.
