FIELD: waste treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the treatment of liquid sludge (sewage sludge, manure, droppings, vinasse and similar industrial, agricultural or municipal waste). Such treatment is intended to reduce the volume of waste, stabilize it biologically and physico-chemically, as well as to obtain products from waste that can be sold. A method for hydrothermal carbonation or wet torrefication of biomass, including biowaste containing up to 90-98% of water, is proposed, which consists in the fact that the biomass successively passes the stages of hydrothermal carbonation in liquid form at a temperature of 180-200°C to obtain an intermediate solid semi-product, semi-biochar with a humidity 50-60%, drying, grinding solid semi-product hydrothermal carbonation, semi-biochar, where the solid semi-product obtained at the stage of hydrothermal carbonation with a humidity of 50-60% is subjected to repeated hydrothermal carbonization in a vertical column with a fluidized bed, which is created by particles of semi-biochar and particles of a solid carbonized product, biochar, and is transferred to a pseudo-fluidized state using superheated water vapor generated in a heating device installed in front of a vertical column for hydrothermal carbonization in a boiling layer, and the wet environment separated from the bio-char, the spent superheated steam, it is sent to a semi-biochar dryer, where it condenses, as a result of which the semi-biochar is heated and dried, while non-condensable gases, which are gaseous carbonation products and contain combustible gases, carbon monoxide, hydrogen and methane, are sent to a heating device in which they are burned to generate superheated water vapor.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of waste treatment solutions.
