FIELD: bioenergetics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bioenergetics, particularly to technology and equipment for biofuel production from biowaste. Disclosed is a method for oxidative torrefaction of biomass in a fluidised bed formed by particles of the treated biomass, characterized in that the gas mixture contains flue gases of the boiler and combustion products of gaseous products of torrefication, wherein the flue gases of boiler contain 2–12 % (vol) of oxygen, and gaseous torreification products are subjected to heterogeneous thermal cracking in a layer of carbon-containing particles at temperature of 850–1,000 °C before combustion.
EFFECT: higher energy efficiency and reliability of biowaste torreification process.
