FIELD: medicine; cardiac surgery.
SUBSTANCE: valve is implanted by means of transapical transcatheter delivery to the pulmonary artery. For this purpose, left side mini-thoracotomy is performed with the application of pouch sutures to the area of the top of the right ventricle and its subsequent punction.
EFFECT: method allows for minimally invasive hybrid implantation of a transcatheter valve of any available size to the lung position regardless a degree of expression of adhesive process behind the sternum and in the pericardium, as well as provision of highly accurate positioning of a valve-containing device during the implantation.
