SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. A preliminary call for lacrimation is carried out, then the lacrimal fluid is applied to a glass slide in the form of a drop and dehydrated for 45-180 minutes at room temperature. A microscopic examination of the lacrimal fluid is carried out, and if bush-like structures in the amount of 10-50 are detected in the marginal zone of the lacrimal fluid sample, the development of uveal melanoma is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method has high accuracy, does not require the use of expensive equipment and reagents, and at the same time is simple to perform and non-invasive for the doctor.
