METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PHANTOM WITH VESSELS FOR ULTRASONIC EXAMINATION Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G09B23/28 A61B5/02

Abstract RU 2777255 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biomedical simulation, in particular, to manufacture of models for ultrasonic examination of tissues and vessels. Method for manufacturing a phantom for transcranial ultrasonic examination includes manufacture of a vascular bed using 3D printing from water-soluble plastic, part of the vascular bed is coated with a sealing substance, liquid plastisol is poured into the body with the vascular bed secured therein, the hardened plastisol together with the vascular bed is removed from the body and put in water, when the plastic forming the vascular bed is dissolved and a lumen is formed between the vascular walls, a tube for supply and removal of the blood-imitating fluid is connected to the vascular bed, water is supplied through the tubes to wash off and dissolve the remaining water-soluble plastic.

EFFECT: invention can be used in ultrasound imaging laboratories.
