SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of motor vehicles and to monitoring of the environment of a vehicle. A method for monitoring of the environment of a parked motor vehicle is proposed, while the vehicle contains an engine, a computing device, and a monitoring system containing an asynchronous camera. The method contains following stages: a stage of detection of the parked motor vehicle, at which it is detected using the monitoring system that the vehicle is parked, and the engine is turned off, a stage of detection of movement, at which it is detected using the monitoring system, whether an object is movable in the environment of the vehicle, by means of detection of movement, using the asynchronous camera, a stage of awakening of the computing device, at which the specified computing device is awakened using the monitoring system.

EFFECT: on-time detection of the environment is achieved, when a vehicle is on parking during several days.
