FIELD: video technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of video coding/video decoding. A video decoding device is proposed that includes a processing scheme that decodes prediction information for the current block in the current encoded image. The prediction information indicates the intrablock copy prediction mode (IBC) used for the current block, the index for selecting a block vector predictor candidate from the block vector predictor candidate list for the current block, and whether there is a non-zero remainder for the current block. The processing scheme creates a list of block vector predictor candidates for the current block with the same sequence of candidates, regardless of whether there is a zero remainder for the current block. The processing scheme selects the block vector predictor candidate from the constructed list of block vector predictor candidates based on the index specified in the prediction information, and reconstructs the current block in accordance with the selected block vector predictor candidate.
EFFECT: increase in decoding efficiency.
