SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely, to an injectable prolonged release composition for preventing or treating hypogonadism, containing testosterone undecanoate as an active ingredient, characterised by the injectable composition containing sesame oil or safflower oil as an oil and benzyl benzoate as a solvent, the mass ratio of testosterone undecanoate and benzyl benzoate being in the range from 1:1 to 1:3, and the mass ratio of testosterone undecanoate and oil being in the range from 1:1 to 1:3, and also relates to a method for injecting the injectable composition, characterised by injecting the injectable composition once every 4 to 16 weeks.
EFFECT: group of inventions increases the ease of use in injections and improves stability in long-term storage and transportation.
