FIELD: shaping.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology for producing graphene-containing suspensions by shear exfoliation of graphite in a liquid, and can be used in various industries in modifying plastic lubricants, epoxy resins, concretes, etc. with graphene. The technical problem solved by the invention consists in increasing the efficiency of graphite exfoliation and increasing the degree of conversion of graphite into graphene. Apparatus for exfoliating graphite consists of a stator in the form of a cylindrical shell with holes for the supply and discharge of a suspension, and a rotor with blades. The rotor is divided along the length into N sections, and the blades on each next section along the circumference are displaced relative to the blades on the previous section by an angle , wherein n is the number of blades in the cross-section, wherein a 5 to 10 mm gap is present between the blades of adjacent sections along the length of the rotor.

EFFECT: intensity of the process of exfoliation using the proposed apparatus is approximately 10% higher than that in the prototype.
