FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and construction and can be used in modifying grease, epoxy resins and concrete. In the vessel for initial suspension 1, a mixture containing liquid and 10–20 wt. % of crystalline graphite is prepared. Container 1 is equipped with fluid supply unit from reservoir 7, flow rate sensor 6 and graphite dispenser 8. Between reservoir 1 and first rotary apparatus 2 pump 9 with controlled capacity is installed, by means of which initial suspension is supplied into exfoliation unit, consisting of 5–10 rotary apparatus connected in series so that hole for removal of suspension of each previous apparatus is connected to hole for supply of suspension of each subsequent apparatus, and hole for removal of suspension from last device 3 is connected to pipe for supply of suspension to centrifugal separator 4 through controlled valve 10. Each rotary apparatus comprises a stator in the form of a cylindrical shell with holes for supply and removal of suspension, a rotor with blades and a rotor rotation drive. After separation, centrate is fed into vessel of finished graphene-containing suspension 5 while sediment is fed into vessel for initial suspension 1.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain graphene-containing suspensions in continuous mode, reduces unit costs and increases degree of exfoliation of graphite.
