METHOD FOR OBTAINING BIOMASS OF METHANE-OXIDIZING BACTERIA WITH THE ADDITION OF SODIUM FORMATE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC C12N1/20 C12N1/26 C12M1/36

Abstract RU 2777669 C1

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. A method for obtaining biomass of methane-oxidizing bacteria is proposed, including the cultivation of methane-oxidizing bacteria in a fermenter under aeration conditions on a nutrient medium containing methane as a source of carbon, sources of nitrogen, phosphorus, mineral salts and trace elements with the addition of sodium formate from 2 to 5 mmol/l as an additional source of reduced coenzyme NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide).

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the biomass yield of methane-oxidizing bacteria for use in the feed, food and chemical industries.
