SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for detecting a target object containing magnetized or ferromagnetic components. Essence: the system contains the first detector (10), which contains at least the first magnetic sensor (5) and at least one emitter (8), the second detector (20), containing at least one second magnetic sensor (5) and at least one emitter (8), at least at least one processing unit (6) capable of receiving signals characterizing the intensity of the magnetic field and detected by the first magnetic sensor (5) and the second magnetic sensor (5), and a communication interface (7) capable of transmitting a signal, generated by the first and/or second magnetic sensor (5), into the processing unit (6). The processing unit (6) is designed to determine the value calculated on the basis of signals characterizing the intensity of the magnetic field detected by the first magnetic sensor (5) and the second magnetic sensor (5). The processing unit (6) it is also made with the possibility of transmitting instructions for generating an alarm signal to at least one emitter (8) when the specified calculated value exceeds the specified threshold value.
EFFECT: the ability to reliably detect small objects containing magnetic components with small dimensions.
