SUBSTANCE: human body temperature measurement system comprises: an arch restricting a passage for a human being; a visible spectrum camera mounted on the arch so that the field of view of the visible spectrum camera covers at least a portion of the passage; an infrared camera mounted on the arch so that the field of view of the infrared camera completely or partially blocks the passage; and a processing unit configured to detect pixels corresponding to a person's face in a visible image, to determine the corresponding pixels in the electronic image and determine the maximum temperature value relating to the pixels corresponding to the said face to determine the human body temperature based thereon.
EFFECT: system and method for non-contact measurement of human body temperature are disclosed.
