SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, and can be used to accelerate the recovery process of damaged somatic nerves. The method involves intramuscular administration of a suspension of resveratrol at a concentration of 0.1 M/l, which corresponds to a dose of 7 mg/kg of weight, for 30 days.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to accelerate the recovery process of damaged somatic nerves by increasing the amount of nerve growth factor (NGF) and restoring the functional activity of the damaged sciatic nerve.
