SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to radiology, radiation diagnostics, oncology and neurosurgery, and can be used for radiosurgical treatment of malignant neoplasms of the brain of convexital localization. Obtain MR images of the brain in the T1 sequence with contrast enhancement. Calculate the prescribed dose (PD) and prescribed isodose (PI). Irradiation is planned taking into account the mutual location of the tumor and scalp, followed by irradiation of the tumor according to the parameters obtained. At the time of irradiation planning, if the 8-Gy isodose line is detected on the MR images in the sagittal, axial and coronal planes of application and / or overlap, the stereotaxic coordinates of the point at the center of the given area are determined. Mark this point on the patient's skin. In this case, before the tumor is irradiated, a heterogeneous colloidal infusion solution is injected subcutaneously in an amount that provides skin inflation by at least 0.5 cm at a given point. Further, the MRI of the brain is repeated in the T1 sequence.
EFFECT: method provides a shortening of the treatment time for malignant neoplasms of the brain of convexital localization with an increase in the safety of treatment while maintaining its effectiveness due to a single exposure to ionizing radiation with the provision of a high prescribed dose for the pathological focus and a reduced dose load on the scalp in the projection of the tumor.
