SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brewery. Described is beer with an ethanol content of 0 to 1.0% vol., containing 0.001 to 1,000 mcg/l of ethyl-2-methylpentanoate (EMP). Also described is a method for producing such beer and an application of EMP for disguising the wort aftertaste and/or imparting a refreshing flavour.
EFFECT: production of beer with a weak wort aftertaste and a refreshing flavour.
