METHOD FOR OPERATION OF THE NPP POWER UNIT WITH A WATER-COOLED POWER REACTOR AT REDUCED LOADS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC F01K13/00

Abstract RU 2779216 C1

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering, in particular to a method for operating a power unit of a nuclear power plant with a pressurized water power reactor at reduced loads, and can be used in the operation of power units of nuclear power plants with a pressurized water power reactor VVER-1000. In the method for operating a power unit at reduced loads, a power unit of a nuclear power plant with a pressurized water power reactor is used as a power unit, containing the first and second circuits of the power unit, which consists in transferring the second circuit of the power unit to sliding pressure by reducing the pressure of the feed water at the inlet to the steam generator and the steam pressure at the inlet into the steam turbine, a steam generator and a main circulation pump are used in the primary circuit path and equipment in the secondary circuit path, including a feed pump, at least one superheater, a separator and a multi-cylinder steam turbine, when the second circuit of the power unit is switched to sliding pressure, an additional heat exchanger is installed parallel to the steam generator, through which part of the circulating water of the primary circuit is directed, providing superheating of fresh steam at the outlet of the steam generator using the thermal power of the reactor released during its unloading at a constant temperature of coolant water at the outlet of the reactor, after which the outgoing flows of cooled water from the additional steam-water heat exchanger and circulation water at the outlet of the steam generator are mixed in the power unit primary circuit path to the main circulation pump.

EFFECT: improving the operational and environmental performance of power units with a water-cooled power reactor with a capacity of 440-1000 MW while improving the reliability of the operation of the flow path of the turbine of the NPP power unit.
