FIELD: twine knotters.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to twine knotters. The twine knotter comprises a knotter hook rotated by a drive disk around the knotter axis to form two successive knots in a pair of twine bundles by means of two full turns of the knotter hook during one turn of the drive disk. The twine knotter comprises a twine holder for clamping a pair of twine bundles between the first clamping element and a second clamping element of the twine holder rotated by means of a drive disk, and a twine knife for cutting a pair of twine bundles. The rotatable second clamping element of the twine holder is made with the possibility of being rotated by means of a drive disk around the axis of the twine holder in such a way that this rotatable second clamping element makes two revolutions during one revolution of the drive disk, with the axis of the twine holder and the axis of the knotter - when viewed in the direction of the drive axes form an angle of less than 45° with each other.
EFFECT: remainder of the twine is excluded.
