FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a machine for the manufacture of filter rods. A machine for the manufacture of filter rods (1) in the tobacco industry is proposed, wherein filter rods (1) contain longitudinal objects (2) of a single length. In this case, the specified machine contains: preparatory unit (11) for the preparation of filtering fiber core (F); forming unit (12) for the formation of filter continuous rod (CR) of filtering fiber core (F); supplying unit (13) for the supply of longitudinal objects (6) of a multiple length; cutting unit (14) for cutting of longitudinal objects (6) of a multiple length into longitudinal objects (2) of a single length; transmitting unit (15) for the transmission of longitudinal objects (2) of a single length; positioning unit (16) for the placement of longitudinal objects (2) of a single length in filter continuous rod (CR) during its formation; cutting head (17) for cutting of formed filter continuous rod (CR), which contains filtering fibers and longitudinal objects (2) of a single length, into separate filter rods (1). Cutting unit (14) contains reel conveyor (22) with a set of tracks, containing a set of tracks located on the periphery of reel conveyor (22) with a set of tracks, while each track is made parallel relatively to other tracks and to an axis of rotation of reel conveyor (22) with a set of tracks for the reception of longitudinal objects (6) of a multiple length in tracks, and circular knife unit (23), while cutting unit (14) is made with the possibility of cutting of longitudinal objects (6) of a multiple length during their transportation on reel conveyor (22) with a set of tracks. Positioning unit (16) contains a pair of stationary longitudinal pushing elements (34, 34') located from both sides of positioning disc (30) for pushing longitudinal objects (2) of a single length out of transporting saddles (31) of positioning disc (30).
EFFECT: provision of a high quality of manufactured rods.
