Cataract phacoemulsification is carried out, during which the failure of the posterior lens capsule occurred, as a result of which the intraocular lens implanted through the corneal tunnel is placed using an intraocular lens cartridge under the cover of viscoelastics on the anterior lens capsule with the fixation of the haptic elements of the intraocular lens in the ciliary furrow. With anatomical excess of the diametrical size of the ciliary furrow in relation to the diameter of the intraocular lens, determined by the haptic elements, to each of which, to the middle of its supporting surface, a piece of silicone tube with a length of 3.0 to 4.0 mm is sequentially fixed with a thread that divides it in half, for this, the haptic elements of the intraocular lens are alternately removed into the corneal tunnel.

EFFECT: method reduces the risk of possible displacement of the intraocular lens from the optical center of the eye.
