FIELD: lost person location determining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining the location of a lost person with a mobile device. To determine the location of a lost person, a pre-calculated number N of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is used, each of which is equipped with a portable base station simulator, a global positioning module with a circular antenna and the ability to triangulate the signal source, a transceiver for organizing wireless communication between the UAV and the UAV network with the ground control unit of the search and rescue station (SRS), while deploying the SRS in the area as close as possible to the place where the person is supposedly lost, N UAVs are launched, the search area is explored in a certain way, each UAV searches for the signals of the user terminal of the lost person, measures the signal strength to determine the proximity to the search target, gives commands to move to the search area to two neighboring UAVs, with the help of which the search target location coordinates are determined, which are then transmitted to the SRS.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to search for a missing person in difficult terrain.
