SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to aerosol generating devices. An aerosol generating device contains a casing forming a chamber for accommodation of at least one current collector and at least one aerosol forming substrate. The chamber has a length along its longitudinal axis, passing from the first end of the chamber to the second end of the chamber. An inductance coil is provided inside the casing, placed around the specified chamber, and it passes along at least part of the length of the specified chamber. The inductance coil contains the first section closest to the first end of the chamber, the second section closest to the second end of the chamber, and the third section located between the first and the second sections. A number of turns per unit of length on the third section of the coil is less than a number of turns per unit of length on one or both of the first and the second sections of the coil, and/or the cross-sectional area of the coil on the third section of the coil is less than the cross-sectional area of the coil on the first and/or the second sections of the coil.
EFFECT: improvement of control of a temperature created by a current collector in induction heating of the current collector.
