SINGLE PORT FOR MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B17/02 A61B17/34

Abstract RU 2780520 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a single port for minimally invasive surgery. A single port for minimally invasive surgery includes a base, a channel node, a connecting element, a wound retractor, a connector and a gas outlet tube. The base contains a lid guide having the first through hole for the passage of a surgical instrument, the first annular flange formed along the edge of the lid guide, and handles formed at specified intervals on the first annular flange in the circular direction of the first annular flange. Each handle has a hook protruding from its lower surface to the center of the base. The channel assembly has a second annular flange in contact with the upper surface of the first annular flange, a cover connected to the second annular flange and covering the base, and input channels protruding from the cover and providing the passage of a surgical instrument through them. The connecting element is located on the upper surface of the second annular flange and fastening the second annular flange to the first annular flange. The wound retractor has a wound retractor membrane partially inserted into an incision in the patient’s abdominal cavity and guiding the insertion of a surgical instrument into the patient’s abdominal cavity, an outer ring located in the upper part of the wound retractor membrane, and an inner ring located in the lower part of the wound retractor membrane. The connector is located between the outer ring and the handle and connects the wound retractor to the base. A gas outlet tube, one end of which is connected to an inner ring to be placed inside the patient’s abdominal cavity, and the other end is to be placed outside the patient’s abdominal cavity to direct the exit of gases from the patient’s abdominal cavity. The gas outlet tube contains an outlet tube, an extension rod diametrically protruding from one end of the outlet tube, and a pair of fixing protrusions protruding at both ends of the extension rod in the direction of one end of the outlet tube, so that the gas outlet tube remains connected to the inner ring without separating from the inner ring when the gas outlet tube is pulled upward. The inner ring contains a connecting hole formed in the inner ring along the height of the inner ring and made with the possibility of installing an outlet tube into it. The slot is formed by a partial cutout in the inner ring and is made with the possibility of installing an outlet tube through it into a connecting hole outside the inner ring, the first installation groove formed on the lower surface of the inner ring and made with the possibility of installing an extension rod into it, and a pair of second installation grooves formed symmetrically at both ends of the first installation groove and made with the possibility of installing a locking protrusion in them.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to provide increased usability during laparoscopic surgery.
