FIELD: thermal insulation design.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal insulation technology and can be used for thermal insulation of heat and cold supply pipelines and/or industrial equipment. A thermal insulation device is proposed, including a thermal insulation element 1, made in the form of a shell 2 made of a polymer material with a reinforcing layer applied to it. The shell is made in the form of at least one segment having a closed cavity of annular section covering the surface of pipeline 3 and/or equipment. The segment of the thermal insulation shell 2 is provided with a nozzle 4 for supplying air or inert gas to the calculated pressure value, providing the calculated geometry of the shell segment. The segment of the shell 2 can be made detachable in length and equipped with fasteners 6, which ensure the fastening of the segment to the surface of the pipeline and/or equipment. The shell of the thermal insulation element can be made of a polymer material reinforced with fiberglass, and the segment of the thermal insulation shell can have a sleeve, cylinder, cone or dome shape.
EFFECT: high degree of efficiency of thermal insulation of pipelines and/or equipment of any configuration and low operating costs.
