FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: to realise the technical result, communication apparatus receives a starting frame containing a first user information field and a second user information field. The first user information field comprises a first terminal identifier (ID) subfield and a first resource unit (RU) selection subfield, and the second user information field comprises a second terminal ID subfield and a second RU selection subfield. The value not subject to use by the terminal ID is therein set in the first random access terminal ID subfield, the first RU selection subfield indicates the initial RU of one or more adjacent random access RU (RA-RU), and the first user information field additionally comprises the first RA-RU number subfield indicating the first number of RU in said one or more adjacent RA-RU. The transmitter of the apparatus then transmits an uplink signal using at least one of said one or more adjacent RA-RU.
EFFECT: reduction in the size of the starting frame.
