SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used to modify copper electroplating coatings. A method for obtaining a composite electrochemical coating based on copper with the addition of electroerosive lead bronze particles includes the introduction of a suspension of electroerosive lead bronze powder into a copper sulphate electrolyte at a concentration of 0.05 g/l. Electroerosive dispersion of lead bronze is carried out with the following parameters: pulse repetition frequency 95-105 Hz, electrode voltage 190-200 V, capacitance of capacitors 65.5 UF. Copper sulphate electrolyte of the following composition is used: CuSO4⋅5H2O 200-250 g/l; H2SO4 35-70 g/l, NaCl 0.01 g/l, citric acid 0.01 g /l.

EFFECT: increase in the physical and mechanical properties of electroplating coatings without significantly increasing the cost of their manufacture.
