FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering and can be used in the creation and modernization of means of monitoring the operability of the navigation equipment of the aircraft consumer (NEAC). The essence of the invention lies in the fact that after receiving a set of special information parcels transmitted from interacting aircraft (SIP) on the evaluated aircraft, the most reliable SIP is determined according to the maximum of the relative reliability sign formed taking into account the geometric interpretation of the possible location of the evaluated and interacting aircraft. At the same time, the decision on the non-operability of the controlled NEAC of the evaluated aircraft is formed as a result of the identification of a discrepancy between the main and control estimates of the distances between the evaluated aircraft and the interacting aircraft, from which the most reliable SIP was transmitted. This makes it possible, unlike the prototype, to exclude as much as possible unreliable values of the spatial coordinates of interacting aircraft from the process of forming a decision on the operability or non-operability of the controlled NEAC and thereby increase the reliability of monitoring its operability.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the control of the operability of the NEAC of the evaluated aircraft under the influence of destabilizing factors on the NEAC of interacting aircraft.
