FIELD: differentials.
SUBSTANCE: method for control of a limited slip differential (hereinafter – LSD) of a vehicle includes: determination of a parameter indicating driving conditions of the vehicle, carried out by determination of a vehicle speed and determination of torque of an engine, detection of slippery driving conditions based on the specified parameter, carried out by determination of that torque of the engine exceeds an engine load line for the vehicle speed, and selective locking of LSD, when slippery driving conditions are detected. 3 alternative implementations of the method for control of a differential, a differential node, and a vehicle are also claimed.
EFFECT: improvement of operational characteristics of a differential is provided.
