SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The invention is a method for changing the phenotype and resistance to late blight of potato plants, including implantation of vegetative and dormant parts of various donor plant species into the recipient plant, and vegetative and dormant parts of various plant species are implanted into the pulp of potato tubers or pollinated with pollen of other plants on the wound surface of potato tubers.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to change the phenotype and strengthen the resistance to late blight of potato plants.
