FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, in particular to mechanisms for fastening the covers of unloading hatches of gondola cars. The gondola car hatch cover hinge holder includes two brackets (1) rigidly connected by a jumper (2). Each bracket of the holder is made in the form of a corner bent at a right angle, in one shelf (3) of which there is a hole (4) for attaching the hatch cover, and in the other shelf (5) at least two holes (6) are made for attaching to the center beam. In the holder according to the first version, the center of one of the holes for attaching to the center beam is located above the center of the hole for attaching the hatch cover. In the holder according to the second version, one of the holes for attaching the bracket to the wall of the center beam is located at the level of the hole for attaching the axis of the hatch cover. The jumper connecting the brackets is made in the form of a plate and is located at an acute angle with respect to the shelves of the brackets with holes for fastening to the gondola car center beam.

EFFECT: invention increases the strength characteristics of the holder and increases the service life, and also provides an increase in the volume of the gondola car body due to the use of a reduced height center beam and improves the dynamic characteristics of the gondola car.
