FIELD: materials science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of physical studies of matter by optical spectroscopy methods and concerns a method for detecting enantiomers of chiral organic molecules. The method includes modification of achiral nanowires by molecules of the analyte under study and standard molecules with known chirality, immobilization of the obtained modified nanowires on the lower reflecting surface, application to the immobilized modified nanowires of the upper reflecting surface at a distance providing an increase in the amplitude of the giant Raman scattering spectra, and removal of the giant Raman scattering spectra of the molecules of the analyte under study.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of specific and highly sensitive discrimination of various enantiomers of organic molecules.
