SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to cardiovascular surgery. A method for manufacturing a biological vascular prosthesis is proposed, which consists in the sampling and preparation of autopsy material, antimicrobial treatment, decellularization and storage of the prosthesis. For antimicrobial treatment, a 1% formaldehyde solution is used. Decellularization and storage is carried out in a solution of pure hexane for analysis.

EFFECT: introduction into clinical practice of a method for manufacturing a biological vascular prosthesis, which would be hermetic, athrombogenic, sterile, non-toxic, immunologically inert to surrounding tissues, would have high strength and a long service life and storage.
