The method contains a stage at which video data is received, including the current image and one or more subsequent images. Further, according to the method, the first flag is checked, indicating whether one or more subsequent images are referenced to the current image in the decoding order, and the second flag is checked, indicating whether the current image can be output. And also the current image is discarded from the video data if the first flag indicates the absence of using the current image as a reference image, and the second flag indicates the inability of the current image to be output.
EFFECT: providing signaling information about links and information about the output of images in one or more sets of parameters.
