SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for encoding video. The inter-prediction mode is output. Motion information is generated for the current block based on the inter-prediction mode. A prediction brightness sample is generated for the current block based on motion information for the current block. A mapped prediction brightness sample is generated based on the mapping process for prediction brightness samples. Information related to the display of brightness with chromaticity scaling (LMCS) is generated based on the displayed prediction brightness sample. A modified restored brightness sample is generated based on the reverse mapping process for brightness samples. The remainder information is generated based on the displayed prediction brightness sample and the modified restored brightness sample. Image information, including LMCS-related information and remainder information is encoded. Moreover, the information associated with the LMCS includes information about the display and reverse display bins and information about the code words LMCS.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of video encoding.
