SUBSTANCE: inter-prediction mode is output, and motion information for the current block is generated based on the inter-prediction mode. Prediction luminance samples for the current block are generated based on the motion information for the current block. A mapped prediction luminance sample is generated based on a mapping process for the prediction luminance sample. Luminance mapping with chrominance scaling (LMCS) related information is generated based on the mapped predictive luminance sample. A luminance residual sample is generated based on the mapped prediction sample, and residual information is generated based on it. A reconstructed luminance sample is generated based on the mapped prediction luminance sample and the residual luminance sample. A modified recovered luminance sample is generated based on the inverse mapping process for the recovered luminance sample. Image information including LMCS related information and residual information is encoded.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency of video encoding.
