FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of compositions and means for veterinary medicine; it can be used for the treatment of hoof infections. A composition for the production of a stable two-phase system is proposed, containing an antimicrobial agent for the treatment of a hoof infection, obtained by mixing of a composition with an aqueous solution and containing organic material dispersed in the form of drops in an aqueous phase, where the composition contains: a. organic material selected from at least one of organic acid ester, fatty acid, and oil, and b. one or more non-ionic surfactant selected from polyatomic alcohol ester, sorbitan(ol) ester ethoxylate, alkylaryl polyester alcohol, fatty acid ethoxylate, ethylene oxide-propylene oxide block copolymer, or alkoxylated cetyl alcohol, and/or one or more ionic surfactant selected from soap based on fatty acid-sodium, olein/oleic fatty acid, quaternary ammonium compound, or bile acid salt, and c. a mixture containing at least 60% of formic acid, from 10% to 30% of acetic acid, and from 3% to 7% of ethanol, where components a. and b. are mixed with component c. at a ratio of 2-30% vol./vol. of components a. and b. and 70-98% vol./vol. of the component c. A stable two-phase system for the treatment of a hoof infection, obtained by mixing of the above-mentioned composition and an aqueous phase, and a set for the production of such a stable two-phase system, containing the above-mentioned composition and an aqueous solution, are also proposed.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides increased efficiency of bacterial destruction relatively to previous applications, using a foot bath, which is provided, in particular, by the dispersed nature of a two-phase system and wetting provided by it, in which a non-aqueous phase is dispersed in the form of drops in an aqueous medium.
